Job Position: Junior Data Engineer
Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Description:
- Collect, clean, transform, and load data into a variety of systems
- Develop and maintain data quality checks and monitoring systems
- Work with a team of data engineers and scientist to design and implement data pipelines
- Create dashboards by pulling data from different data sources and Implement the overall analytics and business intelligence strategy for the Business
- Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
- Conduct thorough data analysis, help design and implement analytics programs, generate reports, and collaborate with various teams to ensure the company is optimizing its resources and maximizing its market share.
- Support the development and maintenance of data warehouses
- Work with stakeholders to understand data needs and requirements
- Document data flows and processes
- Stay up-to-date on new data engineering technologies and best practices
- Collaborate regularly with I.T departments and other teams to design and develop analytical projects designed to understand key business behaviors that drive customer acquisition, retention, and engagement.
- Identify business problems and customer pain points, formulate hypotheses, develop analytic plans, conduct the analysis, synthesize conclusions into actionable solutions, and help implement recommendations for customer experience programs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field, such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics
