Job Position: Inventory Analyst
Job Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Analysis:
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, patterns, and discrepancies.
- Monitor stock levels, aging inventory, and stock movements.
- Conduct root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies and stock outs.
Data Entry:
- Enter inventory-related data accurately and in real time into the inventory management system.
- Verify and update product information, quantities.
- Raise internal requisitions when stock is low.
Inventory Reporting:
- Generate regular inventory reports, such as stock status reports, aging reports,and consumption reports.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis as requested by management or other stakeholders.
- Assist in presenting inventory findings and recommendations to inventory manager and operations department.
Inventory Management Support:
- Collaborate with the inventory team to ensure accurate inventory records and efficient stock management.
- Support the implementation of inventory control processes and procedures.
- Assist in conducting periodic physical inventory counts and reconciling variances.
Data Validation and Quality Assurance:
- Review and validate data entered into the inventory system for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in maintaining data integrity by adhering to data entry standards and procedures.
- Conduct regular data audits to identify and correct data discrepancies or inconsistencies.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in inventory management and data entry tasks.
- Collaborate with the inventory team to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
