Job Title: Accountant
Location: Shagamu, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain Accounting records, including journal voucher entries, account reconciliations, and Petty Cash statements.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Assist in budget preparation and monitoring, providing variance analysis and financial insights.
- Perform periodic Expenses analysis and reporting to support decision-making processes.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and liaise with internal auditors during the audit process.
- Collaborate with the operations teams to streamline accounts processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain confidentiality of Accounts information and exercise discretion in handling sensitive data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using Tally and MS Office applications.
- Excellent analytical skills with an eye for detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Remuneration
N150,000 – N200,000 Monthly.
