Job description: Job Description:As an Application Administration Manager, your job responsibilities include the following:
- Application Management: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications. Ensure applications are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor application performance and conduct regular assessments to identify potential issues. Implement performance tuning and optimization as needed.
- Upgrade and Patch Management: Manage the upgrade and patching process for applications to ensure they remain current and secure.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for application configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of application administrators. Provide guidance, support, and training to team members.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers, IT operations, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and operation of applications.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with software vendors to manage licenses, support agreements, and resolve any vendor-related issues.
RequirementsWe would love to meet you if you have:
- Experience leading a team with strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as PowerShell, bash, or Python.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, ELK stack.
- Knowledge of ISO 8583 messaging standards is an added advantage in this aspect.
- IT certifications in Linux, Kubernetes, or other network-related fields are a plus.
- Experience with resolving technical issues and setting up/integrating new services with Core Banking Applications (CBA) / Financial Exchange Platforms (FEP), with an understanding of ISO 8583 messaging standards.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS), and network security.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required
- 7 years of experience or more with database, network administration, or system administration experience
Physical Requirements
We currently run a flexible work structure; some days are remote while others require you to collaborate with colleagues at the office location. For each situation, you may have:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
This role reports to the VP, Operations.
