Jackrich regains freedom from custody of security agencies

Sobomabo Jackrich has regained his freedom, after spending forty-eight hours in the custody of security operatives.

Jackrich, who was the 2023 governorship candidate of the National Rescue Movement, NRM, was forcefully arrested by men dressed in military uniform on Monday.

The operation at his residence in Degema, Rivers State, led to the death of two of his aides.

Details of his release are still sketchy as of the time of filing this report.
