Newspot reports that the erstwhile politician and statesman was laid to rest in Atta, Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State, on Friday.

In a post on his X handle on Saturday, Obi said the well-attended burial ceremony bore witness to the positive legacy Iwuanyanwu left behind and the profound impact he made on people’s lives.

He said: “Yesterday, I was in Atta, Ikeduru LGA of Imo State, where I joined other prominent Nigerians to pay my last respects to an elder statesman, father figure, and Former President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, as he was laid to rest.

“The well-attended burial ceremony bore witness to the positive legacy he left behind and the profound impact he made on people’s lives.
