The north Londoners left the City Ground with all three points thanks to second-half goals from Saka and Gabriel Jesus.
Saka was booed by Forest fans during the clash and Wright was delighted to see the Arsenal winger shut them up as he slotted home his side’s second goal.
‘I was quite pleased with this (Saka’s goal) because for some reason Forest fans were booing him,’ Wright told Premier League Productions.
‘So I was quite pleased. Poor play from Forest again. Between the goalkeeper (Matt Turner) and some of the mistakes they make, they kind of hand it to teams.’
Wright also offered his opinion on the nasty spat between Arsenal duo Ben White and Oleksandr Zinchenko at full-time.
The pair had to be physically separated on the pitch with Arteta seen calming the Ukrainian left-back down.
‘It says to me that there is fire in the belly,’ Wright added. ‘Whatever has happened, you know Zinchenko is a very emotional guy.
‘A great player, but a very emotional guy. Something has caused a problem there but it will be sorted, that’s the main thing. We’re getting into the crux end of the season.
‘Things are tight. That was a tough game, things are said and sometimes it is taken to heart. It’s something you have to get over. You have to deal with this kind of pressure.’
