I will accept defeat if I lose the senatorial election – Senator Marafa

The senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress(APC) in Zamfara State, Senator Kabir Garba Marafa has challenged citizens to always demand good leadership and representation from their leaders.

Senator Marafa disclosed this to newsmen in Yandoto ward, Tsafe Local Government Area of the State shortly after casting his vote.

He said all the election materials arrived at the ward yesterday night, saying that the election was moving as scheduled and that there was no problem in the area.

“You can see for yourselves that there is no problem as everything is moving smoothly”, he added.

” I am very comfortable with the way the election is moving in Tsafe Local Government Area but I cannot speak about Gusau because I have not been there even though it is part of my senatorial zone ”

On his chances of winning the polls, Senator Marafa explained that only God gives power, pointing out that he will accept defeat if he loses the Zamfara Central senatorial election.

He said the electorate is the decisive gurus in any election, noting that his number one rival, Aliyu Ikira Bilbis, the PDP candidate was a former Local Government chairman, a two times minister and widely known in the senatorial zone.

Newspot reports that by 1:30 pm, election materials have not arrived at the Tudunwada polling units and there were no single security operatives on the ground.
