Gov. Kefas reassures NYSC Corps members of security, welfare in Taraba

Taraba State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas, has affirmed the paramount importance of the security and welfare of National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, members serving in the state.

The assurance came on Tuesday during the swearing-in ceremony for the 2023 Batch ‘C’ Stream II orientation course at Sibre in Ardo-kola local government council of the state.

Represented by the State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Joseph Joshua, he emphasized that his administration prioritizes the safety and well-being of corps members during their stay in Taraba.

Addressing the role of education, he disclosed the state’s commitment to free and compulsory primary and secondary school education, underscoring the significance of quality education for the youth.
