Hamas on Sunday said Israel’s decision to suspend goods and supplies shipments into Gaza have complicated matters.
According to the Palestinian militant group, Israel’s decision also affects the cease-fire negotiation track.
A senior Hamas official Sami Abu Zuhri told Reuters that the Palestinian terror group does not respond to pressure.
“This decision complicates matters and affects the negotiation process, and Hamas doesn’t respond to pressures,” Abu Zuhri said.
Earlier on Sunday, Israel stopped the entry of all goods and supplies into the Gaza Strip.
Israel also warned of “additional consequences” if Hamas does not accept a new proposal for an extension of the first phase of a fragile ceasefire.
This coming after the first phase of a truce agreement between both parties ended at the weekend.
