The newly-appointed Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Corps Marshal Shehu Mohammed, has approved some appointments and redeployment of officers.
The development was contained in a memo sighted by Newspot on Thursday.
According to the memo, the Deputy Corps Commander, Wasiu Adenekan, was appointed to double as the Technical Adviser to the Corps Marshall and Head of the Corps Information Technology Office.
Mohammed also appointed Olusegun Ogungbemide as the new Corps Public Education Officer.
Before his appointment, Olusegun was in charge of command administration and strategy in the operations department at the National Headquarters, Abuja.
In the memo, the Corps Marshal directed the immediate redeployment of three other senior officers.
Assistant Corps Marshal Jonas Agwu, the immediate past spokesperson of the corps, will now head the Administration and Human Resources Department of the FRSC at the National Headquarters.
Similarly, ACM Chidi Nkwonta, former Commandant, FRSC Command and Staff College Udi, Enugu State, has been redeployed as Principal Staff Officer, PSO, to the Corps Marshal.
Nkwonta is taking over from Hafeez Muhammed, an Assistant Corps Marshal who has now been redeployed as Zonal Commanding Officer, Zone 7.
