Enzo Fernandez’s strike helped Chelsea beat AFC Wimbledon 2-1 at Stamford Bridge in the EFL Cup second round on Wednesday night.
The English League two side took the early lead after a penalty was scored by James Tilley in the 19th minute before Chelsea responded with two goals in the 46th and 72nd minutes.
Noni Madueke scored a penalty to sustain the game and Fernandez hit a late strike to put Chelsea through to the next stage.
