Ex-Super Goalie Aiyenugba emotional over son’s display at pre-season tourney

Kwara United goalkeeper, Dele Aiyenugba said he felt emotional watching his son’s heroic performance at the ongoing ValueJet pre-season tournament in Ikenne.

The younger Daniel Aiyenugba was in inspiring form as his club Beyond Limit held former Nigeria Professional Football League champions, Rivers United to a 0-0 draw.

The teenage goalie was named Man of the Match after the thrilling contest.

Aiyenugba, a former Super Eagles goalkeeper said he was close to tears seeing Daniel’s performance in the game.

“I must confess I was moved to tears watching him improve his ability,” he told Newspot in Ikenne.
