Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has named Manchester City as the best team in the world in his post-match interview following Chelsea’s 2-0 Premier League defeat on Sunday.
Two goals from Erling Haaland and Mateo Kovacic gave Pep Guardiola’s side all three points against the Blues at Stamford Bridge.
“I think the performance was good. We competed against the best team in the world. For parts of the game, we were at the same level. For parts, we were better,” Maresca said (via @NizaarKinsella).
Chelsea’s next Premier League game is against Wolves next Sunday.
