The Emir of Bauchi, Rilwan Suleiman Adamu, on Saturday, sent his council members to pay a customary Sallah homage to the Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed.

Also part of the Emir’s entourage were all District Heads, Village and Hamlet Heads in Bauchi Emirate Council as well as government officials, businessmen and individuals who are traditional title holders in the Emirate.

Our correspondent reports that it is customary for the Emir to lead all the traditional institutions in his domain to pay a visit to the State Governor a day after every Sallah.

The Emir and his entourage were all dressed in traditional attires. They also rode horses that were decorated in beautiful colours which showed the rich traditional culture of the Bauchi Emirate.

Their subjects played the drums and blew locally made flutes as they marched around dancing, chanting and singing various songs.
