A dog has taken the life of a newly married man in Illorin, instantly making his bride a widow.
The sad news was announced by a twitter user, Hashim Ibrahim-Bolaji. According to the twitter user, he is currently at the scene of the incident.
The user tweeted saying, he has seen it on tv, read about it, but never knew it could come close to him, as he prayed for the dead.
Tweeting, Ibrahim Bolaji wrote;
”Inna lillahi wa Inna ilaehi raajiun
I have read about it, I have even seen it happen on TV, never knew it will happen so close to me.
A dog just took the life of my friend..
I am in every possible pain …
Subhanallah!”
In another tweet he disclosed the man got married just two months ago. ”Got married in May 2023
Died July 2023.
