Nollywood actress, Carolyna Danjuma, has revealed that she still bears her billionaire ex-husband’s name, Musa Danjuma.
The mother of three, whose marriage to Danjuma ended in 2016 amidst allegations of infidelity, made this revelation in a recent interview.
During the interview, Carolyna shared that although she changed her name to Carolyna Hutchings on her social media pages, she still uses her ex-husband’s name, Danjuma, in real life.
Another interesting part of the interview was that she referred to Danjuma as her husband throughout, rather than her ex-husband, which prompted the interviewer to inquire if they were truly divorced.
In response, she said, “Yes, the divorce is final, but divorce is just a piece of paper. Do we still love each other? Yes, we do. Do we still respect each other? Yes, we do. He’s the love of my life, and that can never change.”
When asked about why she still bears her ex-husband’s name Danjuma, she explained, “I have three kids with my husband, and he’ll always be my husband, whether anyone likes it or not. So I can always carry that name Danjuma. On social media, I am Carolyna Hutchings as a brand, but in real life, I am actually Carolyna Danjuma. Yes, I still bear Danjuma, and my husband does not have a problem with that.”
