Opposition Leader, Yair Lapid’s Yesh Atid party on Wednesday criticized Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu of going off the rails.
This comes after Netanyahu posted a tweet accusing an alleged “deep state” of weaponizing the justice system against him.
“Netanyahu has completely lost it. He’s gone off the rails,” the centrist party wrote on X from its official account.
“The Prime Minister is spreading dangerous conspiracies, undermining the rule of law, and slandering Israel.
“He is in panic mode. He knows that his inner circle is mired in foreign interests and that the truth will be revealed.
“This is not leadership, this is a dangerous and embarrassing panic.”
Earlier on Wednesday, Israel announced renewed ground operations in Gaza.
Israel issued what it described as a last warning to residents of the territory to return hostages and remove Palestinian militant group Hamas from power.
