The court, presided over by the state Chief Judge, Justice Hafsat Abdulrahman, adjourned the matter until 20th May 2025 for the continuation of defence, shortly after the cross-examination of Defence Witness 1, who is the defendant himself.

Rabiu has been standing trial since 2021 for allegedly converting two landed properties worth N80 million, which he reportedly purchased in the name of Nyako’s Sebore Farms Ltd and later resold, keeping the proceeds for himself.

On his appearance in court on Thursday, Rabiu was cross-examined on his testimony before the court and on exhibits tendered and admitted as evidence.
