CAF Champions League: Remo Stars pip Morocco’s AS FAR

Remo Stars defeated AS FAR of Morocco 2-1 in the first leg of their Champions League preliminary round clash in Ikenne on Sunday.

Right-back Sodiq Ismail’s cross was nodded home by captain Junior Nduka in the 19th minute.

The visitors equalised four minutes after the break.

Ismail scored the decisive goal from a header in the 63rd minute.
