CAF Champions League: Remo Stars dumped out by Morocco’s AS FAR

Remo Stars have been dumped out of the CAF Champions League following a 2-0 loss to AS FAR of Morocco.

Newspot recalls that AS FAR also eliminated Remo Stars in the preliminary round of the competition last season.

AS FAR won the two-legged contest 3-2 on aggregate.

The hosts dominated the first half but Remo Stars stood firm at the back.

The Moroccans put the game beyond Remo Stars with the second goal through a penalty converted by El Amine Zouhzouh in the 78th minute.

Nigeria now has two clubs (Rangers and Enyimba) left on the continent.
