BUA Foods Plc has reported a 36% revenue jump to ₦912.5 billion and a 101% rise in Profit Before Tax to ₦276.1 billion for H1 2025.
This profit is said to have been driven by strong performance across its product lines. Notably, rice revenue soared by 2,923%, reflecting the company’s successful entry into local rice production.
Gross profit climbed 55% to ₦339.3 billion, while EPS nearly doubled to ₦14.45. Flour and pasta divisions grew 66% and 31% respectively, with sugar contributing ₦398.1 billion.
Total assets hit ₦1.33 trillion, and retained earnings rose by 62% to ₦681.1 billion.
Managing Director Ayodele Abioye credited the results to operational efficiency and continued investment in expansion and backward integration.
