Borno: Troops kill Boko Haram terrorist, recover ammunition

The troops of the Nigerian Army have neutralized a Boko Haram terrorist in Borno State.

The terrorist was killed by the troops of the 21 armoured Brigade, Operation Hadin Kai in collaboration with a hybrid force, during a targeted ambush against Boko Haram terrorists near Darel Jamel in Bama Local Government Area of Borno State.

Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama that the ambush was carried out on October 13, 2024, while others managed to flee.

During the operation, the troops recovered ammunition, including one packet link containing 40 rounds and eight rounds of 7.62mm special ammunition.
