Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, the Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC in Benue, has congratulated the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, on his victory.
Alia said in a statement on Wednesday that Tinubu’s victory at the just-concluded Presidential and National Assembly Elections was deserved.
The statement was signed by his media aide, Mr Isaac Uzaan.
Alia also congratulated Nigerians for exercising their franchise on Saturday.
He said Tinubu had track records of achievements and expressed confidence that he would use his wealth of experience to lead Nigeria well.
Alia said that Tinubu, a former Governor of Lagos State, would build on the successes of President Muhammadu Buhari and grow the nation’s economy to an enviable height.
He also congratulated those elected senators and House of Representatives members, urging them to steer Nigeria into the path of sustainable peace and unity as well as accelerate its socioeconomic development.
Alia called on Nigerians to join hands to build a peaceful and flourishing nation.
