The Vice-Chancellor, Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti, Professor Edward Olanipekun has rejoiced with the entire university community, particularly, the Muslim ummah as they celebrate this year’s Eid El Fitri festival.
Professor Olanipekun, in his Sallah message signed by the Head, Directorate of Information & Corporate Affairs of the institution, Bode Olofinmuagun congratulated Muslims on the auspicious occasion and called on them “not to forget the lessons learnt during the holy month of Ramadan” and charged them further “to continue to exhibit the lessons of sacrifice and love for one another.”
He also admonished all “to be resolute in preaching and maintenance of unity, peace and stability of the university community in particular and the Nation at large.”
While wishing them Eid Mubarak, the Vice Chancellor prayed that the Almighty God would continue to shower His abundant blessings and prosperity on every member of the university community.
