Troops of 3 Division, Operation SAFE HAVEN have neutralized two bandits and recovered arms and ammunitions in Plateau State
In a statement by Major Samson Nantip Zhakom, Media information officer of operation SAFE HAVEN, the success followed intelligent based raid operation conducted on 12 May 2025
During the operation, troops made contact with the criminals and overwhelmed them with superior firepower and in the process, neutralised 2 bandits.
Troops also, recovered one AK-47 rifle, one AK-47 magazine, one fabricated rifle which fires 7.62 mm (Special) ammunition, seven rounds of 7.62 mm (Special) ammunition,Four mobile phones,Two motorcycles, Cash sum of One Hundred and Fifty Seven Thousand Nine Hundred Naira (N157,000.00) only.
According to the statement, the recovered arms and ammunition are in custody, while recovered mobile phones are being examined to aid tracking and arrest of other members of the criminal syndicate.
The statement assured the public that the activities of the dangerous criminals will continually be met with stiff resistance from troops who are poised to sustain offensive operations against the miscreants in every means possible.
