The Commander, 403 Amphibious Brigade of Operation Hadin Kai in the Baga town of Borno, Brig. Gen. A.O Ajagbe, has donated exercise books to students of Government Junior Secondary School, Baga.

The acting Deputy Director, Army Public Relations, Sector 3 of OPHK, Capt. Babatunde Zubairu, said in a statement on Wednesday that the gesture was to improve civil-military relations in the area and to also encourage students, thereby supporting the growth of the education sector in the area.

The statement quoted the military commander as urging the students to dedicate themselves to their studies to chart a better future for themselves.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that the commander also appealed for more community support for the military as it continued to tackle terrorism.
