The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Prof Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, on Sunday supervised the defection of several members from the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to the APC in Dawakin Kudu Local Government Area of Kano State.
This event comes ahead of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State’s official welcoming rally to the party.
During the rally, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf were both endorsed for second terms in office by party faithful and the new defectors.
A prominent indigene of the Dawakin Kudu/Warawa Federal Constituency used the occasion to publicly appeal to the Chief of Staff to the APC National Chairman, Hon. Mustapha Bala Dawaki, to return to active politics and contest the Dawakin Kudu/Warawa House of Representatives seat.
