Bauchi State Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Alhaji Adamu Manu Soro, has denied being the one in a viral video clip in which a man is alleged to have been buying votes for the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.

The video, which was posted on micro blogging site, Twitter, went viral prior to Saturday’s governorship and House of Assembly elections in the state.

Disclaiming the viral video in an interview with journalists in Bauchi, the commissioner declared that he was not the man in the video, adding that with the outstanding performance of Governor Bala Mohammed since assuming office, it would be naive for anyone to allege vote buying for the ruling PDP in the state.

“This Twitter video clips going round globally, whoever knows Bauchi State, knows that Governor Bala Mohammed has performed creditably well in the past three and a half years in the execution of capital projects, hence it is naive for someone to allege vote buying for the ruling PDP in the state.

“I’m not the one in the said video clips going round globally. So anyone or medium of communication published a story from the video clips does so to defame my image and reputation in the good looking eyes of the public, and by God’s grace I’ll take a legal action against that,” Manu Soro said.
