Please find below my advice to Awikonko and his response and you form your own opinion.

I rise up to your challenge that anyone who has a video of where you have even been rude or abusive to Alaafin Lamidi Adeyemi or Alaafin Owoade, he or she should produce it to the public.

I am a long term fan of your podcast and talkshow on YouTube right from the time you used to cover up your identity like Afro musician Lagbaja of Lagos.

You are a very talented artist. There is no doubt about that like I told you before but you also have a flammable temperament and you can be self righteous and arrogant in the way and manner you make your presentation on your show.

You always spin or slant your report in favor of the Oonirisa which I fully understand because I too recognize. like you do, that the Oonirisa and Arole Oodua ought to be viewed and respected as our number one royal father and spiritual Head of the Yoruba Race as the Arole and the successor to Oodua at Ile Ife our ancestral home. but your acknowledging that must not translate to your being rude and abusive to the Alafin of Oyo who at one point in the History of the Yorubas was considered the number one Emperor and the political Head, if not the Spiritual Head of the Yoruba Nation as the powerful and highly respected “Oonirisa Okirikiribiti Jigbini bi Ate Akun Olori Alade Gbogbo”

The two royal fathers Oonirisa and Alaafin deserve our honor and respect is what I am telling you.

The way you reported the beating up of Baba Oba of Oyotunji Village by the people you described as the thugs of the new Alaafin of Oyo has casted aspersion on the person of Oba Owoade without any iota of doubt.

You even insinuated in your video that I watched that Alaafin Owoade ought to be charged and prosecuted for murder and now you are telling the Public you have never been rude or abusive to the new Alaafin or his predecessor.

Come on. Give me a break. You were rude and judgmental and abusive to the new Alaafin who made some glaring mistakes by not coming out sooner to give a credible explanation on his role in what happened to the Baba Oba of Oyotunji Village Arohunfale at his Palace and the insinuation by many people like you that it was the attack on the Baba Oba of Oyotunji Village in South Carolina at the Alaafin’s Palace that had eventually caused his death which is now under investigation by Law Enforcement, if I get you right.

You said you were not rude or abusive to the new Alaafin.

Were you not the one that first carried the first rumor about a week ago that the new Alaafin had come to beg or “dobale” for the Oonirisa at his Palace at Ile Ife at night under cover of darkness.

It was an insult and a stigma you wanted to put on the new Alaafin but you had to know you were telling that lie to insult the new Alaafin.

So please don’t tell the Public you have never been rude, abusive and contemptuous of the new Alaafin.

Your invitation by the Olowu of Owu Kuta in Oyo State at a time the new Alaafin was his guest was probably designed to reconcile you and the new Alaafin because the Olowu Kuta had to know that you and the new Alaafin were not in good terms because of what you always say about him on your talkshow program

That the new Alaafin would want the Olowu Kuta to mediate between you and Iku Baba Yeye was a little bit strange to me because the Alaafin is, head and shoulders, above your pay grade but when people saw you prostrating at Owu Kuta before the same Alaafin, they knew exactly who is the boss between the new Alaafin and yourself.

The way you spoke about the royal father, the Olusin of Ijara Isin who had called you out to talk to you at Owu Kuta where you were roughhandled by the entourage of the Alaafin is a case in point to prove that you only respect royal fathers you want to respect.

If you continue to use your platform or studio as a license to accuse or insult and abuse people who are not in your studio to debunk or contradict your self-righteous indictment and abuse of them, you can lose your liberty, your license or patent to broadcast on YouTube if the aggrieved report your abuse of then to the YouTube Management because you are not legally allowed to do that, and you as a user of their space and license, are regulated and must abide by their rules and regulations, if you want to continue to use their platform to make money and to beg and solicit for money like an “Almajeri” who go around singing in Hausa “Sadaka Sabo da Allah”

You were very rude and abusive to Kabiyesi the Olusin of Ijara Isin in the way and manner you have spoken about him on your platform I watched on the YouTube from the comfort of my living room in New York. It is in your DNA to be very rude and disrespectful and somebody has to call your bluff.

I once had cause to advise you to stop describing yourself as “Apadabo” or reincarnation of “Oranmiyan” because you are not.

You describe yourself as “Asoro l’oju Oloro. Ti Oloro ba gbo, kini Baba Oloro you se”

I told you that was a very arrogant statement to make and sustain when you are talking of a highly rated Oba like the Alaafin or any royal father at all.

I also challenge you wearing a beaded crown on some of your program as if you are a titular Oba yourself. That you are a talkshow host or a part time actor, does not entitle you to make a crown for yourself and to wear it with impunity in the Public.

If other bloggers like you do what you do, what would that say about the silence of all of our traditional rulers who are just too intimidated and too powerless to challenge your wearing a crown in the public or taking pictures with a crown on your head.

You not only took a knee to the Alaafin of Oyo at Owu Kuta, you were forced to prostrate for the Alaafin and to retract or walk away from some of the insults you have passed to him on your talkshow platform.

I am directing this comment to you directly but I could make it public, if you take it in a negative way and you begin to insult me, because you have a very short fuse in your temperament.

I still admire you for your talent and your contribution to Yoruba Culture and tradition, but you must watch your language as you turn 50 and celebrate your 50th Birthday with pomp and pageantry pretty soon

My first son is 5 years older than you so I feel eminently qualified to advise you, if you are open to it. You must stop using your platform to insult and abuse people who don’t have the opportunity to defend themselves and to call your bluff. You and I are not competitors for anything. You are therefore wrong to accuse of being jealous of you or your popularity or notoriety.

I rest my case.

His response:

Yeah thanks but you still haven’t pin point out exactly where I directly abuse or disrespect the personality of Alaafin Owoade? Were you not alive or blind when Almaroof made the stupid statement against the Person and the Stool of Oonirisa which is the most respected Stool in the history of the people of South West? What was your comment or advise to him?

Yeah, I intentionally put everything on defence of the Oonirisa and the stool of Oduduwa bcos of his humility, accommodating skills, open arms to collaborate or work with anyone without minding the existing rifts, fights or disputes. He preaches love, peace and unity.

We all felt disappointed with Alaafin’s approach while putting his foot on ground and you know the saying that ‘first impression last longer’.

– Even if your last son is above 70 year old you’re still not my father and that doesn’t give you any audacity to insult me and be expecting praises in return. At my age I can only respect only who I desire to and give it back to anyone irrespective of their age Sir.

– If not the hatred within you and lack of moral instincts how would you tell someone of my age that you are not feeding that ‘you have a very short fuse in your temperament’.

– Your foolishness, stupidity is second to none to still refer to my Stage name and that made you lost it all from me bcos I could feel your bitterness, hatred and your short level of reasoning and that’s why I do say, ‘O pàdé àgbà lọ́nà o ní kó kọ́ ẹ Ọlọ́gbọ́n, tó bá jẹ́ agọ̀ ló bá dàgbà ńkọ́? Ṣebí n t’ éèyàn bá ní ni yóò fi tọrẹ’. If you want, you can commit suicide bcos of my name or call it anything you want. I owe you no apology whatsoever.

– Actually your write up was based on hatred and attack and not or never a words of advice Sir and I think you transferred your aggression to a wrong Guy.

– As far as I am concerned no insult whatsoever was passed to the Alaafin if not reactions to his steps taken due to the useless, hopeless, senseless and brainless people like you around him that overrated him and his stool bcos of the ‘Lost glory of the fallen empire’ and which made only bastards rated the stool of Alaafin above that of Odùduwà and only people of such wasted entities see me as enemy.

– If not for being brainless, how would you be crying over my Crowns that I made for acting, while you watch many actors, actresses wearing crowns in movies and cinemas but you see nothing bad in it right? Did I call myself a king or ascended any throne of any town? I have the freedom to dress as I like, wear whatever I wish, call myself anything so far it doesn’t violate any law of the land, affect anyone’s personal life or disturbed anyone’s peace. Nobody can challenge my wearing crowns and if you have the money or feel like wearing one, I can help you with one ‘Asíndẹmádé’ here in Ile Ife.

– You will be the only person who thought I was forced to prostrate for the Alaafin due to your shortsightedness, old age and foolishness. I was angry bcos of the assault and you should commend my boldness and courage to still be able to ask my father the Alaafin of Oyo question even if just one but historical? Well, Ẹṣin ọ̀tá ẹni kìí ga lójú ẹni.

– How am I now become a threat to your existence while I am doing my things, making fun, exhibiting my talents and living my life and enjoying it as little as I can and you are somewhere hurting yourself with bitter heart and hatred. Have you forgotten ni Sir? That ‘Inú abímọkú kan kìí dùn – Ẹnikẹ́ni tí bá ń bínú mi tàbí Ògo mi – Ìbànújẹ́ ojoojúmọ́ ni yóò máa rí lórí ọmọ àti ìdílé rẹ̀. I am happy today bcos I have a very good heart full of love but truth and fact without minding the receiver of words while not seeking for friendship or favours bcos God almighty completed my life. Tí ẹ bá fẹ́ jèrè àwọn ọmọ yín – Kindly Leave my life alone before you begin to see the wrath and vengeance of almighty God. I don’t do bad to people and that’s why I had a free heart. Leave your life the best way you can and learn how to let others live their lives. We’re in a free word. I only communicate with intellect, intelligent and people of love, peace and harmony. Good day.
