Veteran Actor, Jim Iyke has shared his opinion on the Oba of Lagos’s remark about the Labour Party governorship candidate in the state, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, ahead of the election and reports surrounding the election.
Taking to his Instagram page, he shared a post that quoted the Oba of Lagos saying that the state’s incumbent governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu will win even though Gbadebo had a bright future.
In response, Jim Iyke queried his supporters on what they thought “democracy” meant.
He also disclosed that a wise man made him take the choice of dual and even multiple citizenships seriously and he’s glad he listened.
He wrote;
“SOMEBODY PLS…. REMIND ME AGAIN, WHAT DEMOCRACY MEANS? GOOGLE HAS FAILED ME. A WISE MAN MADE ME TAKE THE CHOICE OF DUAL, EVEN MULTIPLE CITIZENSHIP SERIOUSLY YEARS AGO. I LISTENED. IM HERE FOR SOME LOGICAL INSIGHTS. NO MAN IS AN ISLAND.
NOT HERE FOR THE DIMWIT INSULTS. PLS TAKE NOTE. GOD BLESS NIGERIA. SMH.”
