Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, Sunday March 22, 2026, joined other members of the Governor’s Forum, to pay homage to President Bola Tinubu, as part of festivities to celebrate this year’s Eid al-Fitr.
Fielding questions from Government House Correspondents on his arrival at the Victor Attah International Airport, Governor Eno said the meeting gave them an opportunity to interact with the President on critical national issues.
Governor Eno described Eid al-Fitr as a joyous Islamic celebration which brought to an end the month of Ramadan which featured fasting, prayers, special meals, charity, and family visits.
Speaking on the South South Governor’s forum meeting which he also attended while away from the state, the Governor said it was to encourage regional collaboration, integration, review previous party congresses and plan ahead of the upcoming ones.
