Large billboards expressing gratitude toward U.S. President Donald Trump have appeared in central areas of Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, drawing both support and criticism as tensions continue to shape the geopolitical climate in the Middle East.
Images circulating in international media show the billboards carrying the message “Thank You God & Donald Trump,” alongside a photograph of the U.S. president applauding. The designs also feature the crossed national flags of the United States and Israel, symbolizing the close alliance between the two countries.
According to reports from foreign outlets, the billboards were installed along major highways and prominent intersections in Israel’s two largest cities, making them visible to thousands of commuters daily.
The campaign was reportedly organized by the Friends of Zion Heritage Center, a Jerusalem-based advocacy group known for promoting relations between Israel and pro-Israel supporters around the world.
In a statement explaining the initiative, the organization said the billboards were meant to express gratitude during what it described as a historic moment in the Middle East, particularly as tensions involving Israel, the United States, and Iran continue to dominate regional security discussions.
The group praised what it called Trump’s leadership and support for Israel, while also emphasizing the role of faith among those who believe divine protection continues to guide the country.
Reactions among Israeli residents have been mixed. Some citizens interviewed by local media welcomed the display, saying it highlights the importance of U.S.–Israel strategic cooperation.
Others, however, criticized the billboards as political messaging that may exaggerate the role of any single leader in the region’s complex geopolitical situation.
The displays have nevertheless attracted global attention online, with photos widely shared across social media platforms.
While the billboards have sparked debate, analysts note that the campaign was privately organized and not an official Israeli government initiative.
