Osun United head coach, Akinade Onigbinde, has praised his players for their resilience in the victory over Abakaliki FC.
The Omoluabi giants secured a hard fought 1-0 win over Abakaliki FC at the Pa Ngele Oruta Township Stadium on Saturday.
Osun United’s resolute performance was rewarded with a goal from Sodiq Obisesan in the final second’s of the game.
Onigbinde assured that they will build on the performance till the end of the campaign.
The victory was Osun United’s first on the road this season.
“Kudos to my boys for silencing the high-flying opponents,” Onigbinde told Osun United’s media.
“We’ll keep working on the winning tactics and continue to fight for points till the end of the season.”
Osun United moved up to eight position with 14 points from 12 matches.
