Ibe made this clarification on Wednesday while responding to questions in an interview on ‘Prime Time’, a programme on Arise Television monitored by Newspot.

He said the preoccupation of the duo is building and ensuring there is an alternative platform to give the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, a run for their money.

“Like I said earlier, having that kind of conversation is putting the car before the horse. Obi and Atiku have not had that conversation as far as the ADC is concerned.

“If the platform of the ADC created is not robust enough, their aspirations and ambition will come to not. They are trying to have a robust platform. Any other thing is a distraction brought about by the President Tinubu-led administration,” Ibe said.
