XGT Smart Consults has secured a major leadership role in the SouthโSouth business ecosystem with its appointment as Corporate Vice President, Renewable Energy on the Executive Council of the Coalition of Southโsouth Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (COSSCCIMA). The announcement was made during the 2025 Annual General Meeting and Investiture Ceremony hosted by the Benin Chamber of Commerce (BENCCIMA).

During the AGM, Engr. Raphael Harrison, Executive Director of Innovation and Strategy at XGT Smart Consults, delivered a technical presentation highlighting scalable renewable-energy solutions for urban, industrial, and rural environments. His presentation emphasized affordable electricity, industrial transformation, and increased investment inflows into the region.
The high-profile event drew top dignitaries, including the Executive Governor of Edo State (represented by the Commissioner for Trade and Investment), Engr. Jani Ibrahim, National President of NACCIMA, Hon. Austin Atakpo, COSSCCIMA President, Hon. Indutimi Komonibo, outgoing President Dr. Billy Gillis-Harry, Chairman of the COSSCCIMA Board of Trustees, and several chamber leaders from across the SouthโSouth region.
