The Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion has ratified the creations of
15 New Dioceses.
Five ,full dioceses and 10 missionary dioceses.
The motion moved by the Archbishop Metropolitan and Primate of all Nigeria Most Revd Henry Ndukuba for the creation of new dioceses was overwhelmingly carried by Yes vote.
The endorsement came at the plenary session of the Church at his 2025 Standing Committee Meeting held at the Cathedral Church of Emmanuel Ado-Ekiti.
The five New Dioceses are
1. Ekiti South
2. Kalabari
3.Lagos South West
4.Omoku – Ahoada
5. Ozoro
The Missionary Dioceses are
1. Eket
2. Idanre
3. Ikom
4. Keffi
5. Nasarawa
6. Ogoja
7. Oyo South
8. Oyun
9. Takim
10. Zuru
