📍 Kano, Nigeria — In a significant development for job-seeking youths in Kano State, Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin Kofa, the member representing Kiru/Bebeji Federal Constituency, has once again facilitated the placement of six constituents into permanent and pensionable federal jobs.
In an official announcement released on July 23, 2025, Hon. Jibrin revealed that five young engineers from various wards in the Kiru/Bebeji constituency have secured employment with the Federal Housing Authority (FHA), while one additional constituent has been appointed as a Legislative Assistant by the National Assembly Service Commission (NASC).
The new appointments at FHA include:
- Engr. Nura Aliyu Hamisu (Kiru Ward) – Senior Mechanical Engineer
- Engr. Abdullahi Musa (Ranka Ward) – Senior Mechanical Engineer
- Engr. Shuaibu Mustapha (Kiru Ward) – Senior Mechanical Engineer
- Engr. Inuwa Dankaka (Bebeji Ward) – Higher Technical Officer (Electrical)
- Engr. Abubakar Isa Baguda (Baguda Ward) – Senior Electrical Engineer
The sixth beneficiary, Ashiru Idris Muhammad, was appointed Legislative Assistant under the NASC.
The lawmaker also provided an update on earlier employment promises involving the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS). He reassured constituents that the recruitment process is still ongoing, with their names included in the final batch. The delay, he explained, is due to the large volume of applicants being processed in phases.
Hon. Jibrin, who holds the traditional title of Jarman Bebeji, emphasized his commitment to creating job opportunities for the youths of his constituency and urged beneficiaries awaiting their FIRS appointment letters to remain patient.

ADDITIONAL FEDERAL GOVERNMENT OFFER OF PERMANENT AND PENSIONABLE EMPLOYMENT TO KIRU/BEBEJI CONSTITUENTS:
FEDERAL HOUSING AUTHORITY (FHA)
I am pleased to inform my constituents of Kiru/Bebeji that I have once again secured permanent and pensionable job offers for five youths from our constituency at the FHA and another addition of one Legislative Aide from the National Assembly Service Commission (NASC).
FEDERAL INLAND REVENUE SERVICE (FIRS)
The earlier beneficiaries for FIRS offers will soon be officially invited. The delay is as a result of the large number of the recruitment exercise which has to be done in batches. It is noteworthy that our offers are part of the last batch. All beneficiaries should kindly exercise patience and be rest assured, they will be officially invited as soon as possible.
