The Confederation of African Football, CAF, has called on Egypt to host the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
Initial hosts, Côte d’Ivoire, pulled out of staging the biennial competition on Wednesday.
Newspot recalls that Egypt hosted the 2023 edition of the U-20 AFCON.
The competition is scheduled to kick off on Saturday, April 26.
