The apex sociocultural organisation in Idanre Kingdom of Ondo State, Idanre Development Assembly (IDA), has congratulated the Ondo State governor, Mr Lucky Aiyedatiwa, on his inauguration as the seventh democratically elected governor of Ondo State, saying that his antecedents are a clear demonstration of his capacity and ability to transform the state.
The assembly gave this commendation in a congratulatory letter signed by its president, Dr Anthony Omolola.
Noting that Ondo State is endowed with enough resources to be a leading state in Nigeria, the organisation pledged that Idanre Kingdom would give the governor all the support he needs to excel.
The assembly, however, called on the governor to ensure the dualisation of the Akure-Idanre road and the repair of roads within Idanre in other to its tourism potential, actualize rapid industrialization and ensure gainful employment for the teeming youths in the kingdom.
Expressing confidence in the governor’s ability to deliver on his electoral promises, the assembly expressed hope that he would surpass expectations and take the Sunshine State to an era of unprecedented prosperity.
