The Adamawa State Police has informed the general public that there will be a shooting range exercise by officers and men of the Command at the Counter Terrorism unit, CTU, Base along Mubi road, Girei Local Government area.
The exercise is scheduled for the whole of Wednesday, 15th January, 2025, according to a statement from the command.
“In view of this, all residents, business owners, motorists, farmers, herders and the general public are advised to avoid the shooting area,” the statement said.
Signed by the state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Nguroje, the statement assured the general public that all safety and security measures have been arranged.
