Ministry Offers N1m Reward For Arrest of Father Alleged To Have Sexually Abused His 3-Year-Old Daughter

The Ministry of Women Affairs has announced a reward of N1,000,000 for information leading to the arrest of Magnus Okpalannadi, a 62-year-old man accused of sexually abusing his 3-year-old daughter.

Grace Njoku, Head of Information and Public Relations at the Ministry, in a statement said the Minister, Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, responded to reports of a child molester in Onitsha, Anambra State, who has allegedly been mostly his infant daughter.

The statement stressed that President Bola Tinubu’s administration has zero tolerance for child abuse and molestation.

It assured that the government would ensure the immediate prosecution of the offender to serve as a deterrent to others.

Additionally, the statement reiterated the government’s commitment to creating a safe environment for every Nigerian child, woman, and vulnerable person under the Renewed Hope Agenda of the current administration.
