Big Brother Naija star Sheggz Olusemo has set the records straight about his relationship with his lover and co-star, Bella Okagbue.
Recent rumors suggested that the popular BBNaija couple parted ways a few weeks ago but were keeping it quiet to avoid public scrutiny.
The speculation also included claims that Sheggz said he is not ready for marriage and made Bella terminate her alleged pregnancy.
They added that Sheggz, who is currently in the UK while Bella is in Nigeria, has been spending time with another woman abroad.
These reports ignited a huge controversy on social media, prompting Sheggz to address the rumors and clear the air.
In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Sheggz asserted that he and Bella, whom he referred to as his wife, are still in good terms.
The 27-year-old former footballer further questioned whether he is not allowed to travel outside Nigeria to spend time with his family, without rumours flying that they are having relationship issues.
He wrote,
“Someone sent a DM. The joblessness in naij, no one wants to work. This is the last time I’ll address nonsense. My wife and I are good, I’m allowed to go and see my family real quick. Didn’t see mumsi for New Years or Christmas. Y’all are weird”
