The National President of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, Comrade Aisha Ibrahim called on Nigerians to rededicate themselves to the service of humanity in line with the true teachings of Jesus Christ.
She made the call in a Christmas message issued to newsmen.
While celebrating, the NAWOJ President urged the general public to continue living in peace and shun any forms of violence in order to protect the lives and properties of all citizens.
The statement further enjoined Christians to use this festive season “to pray for unity, peace and prosperity of the country and extend their helping hands to others.”
