Lobi Stars head coach, Eugene Agagbe, said the team will build on their narrow victory against Gombe United in their next game.
Agagbe’s side defeated Gombe United 1-0 at the Lafia City Stadium on Wednesday.
Sunday Chinedu scored the only goal of the game.
The Pride of Benue tactician believed that the team need a victory on the road to maintain their position on the table.
“The players need to be commended for giving us the victory against Gombe United,” he stated in a post-match interview.
“The result put us among the first three on the table as we will try and work harder to get an away result against Akwa United in Eket.
“The matchday 12 fixture is gone and we look ahead to the next.”
Lobi Stars moved up second position on the table with 23 points.
The Yes Father Boys will travel away to Uyo for their next game against Akwa United.
