CRUSADERSTERLING PENSIONS SEEKS PARTNERSHIP WITH JAMB ON CSR

The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) portfolio of the Board received a boost on Wednesday, 13th September, 2023, when CrusaderSterling Pensions expresses its determination to partner with the Board in this critical area.

This expression of interest was conveyed to the Board on Wednesday, 13th September, 2023, when the Managing Director of the Pension Fund Administrator (PFA), Mr. Rotimi Adebiyi, and his team paid an official visit to the Ogun State Office of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) in Abeokuta.

In his remarks, the Managing Director lauded the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives of the Board, which he noted had tremendously contributed to national development. Earlier, the Ogun State Coordinator, Mr. AbdulHakeem AbdulHameed, explained that the Board’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) was established to bridge the gap between institutions and groups through collaborative ventures that work for all.

He also disclosed that the Board’s CSRs were not confined to the education sector alone as other areas of national life had benefited from the Board’s intervention schemes. He noted that the CSRs practices employed by JAMB under the leadership of Prof. Is-haq Oloyede has succeeded in terms of promoting the Board’s core organisational values.

In his exposition, the Head, CBT Support Services, Wale Afolabi, highlighted some CSRs of the Board, especially in the health sector, citing the Board’s donation of ventilators to some health facilities during the COVID-19 pandemic, facilitation of the donation of medical equipment by Project C.U.R.E., a donor agency based in Denver, USA, as well as the donation of medical equipment and consumables to some hospitals, and adoption of some basic schools within its host community in Abuja for infrastructural support, contributing to sportsmanship and youth development, among others. Mr. Adebiyi expressed appreciation to staff of the Board who chose CrusaderSterling as their PFA while soliciting their continuous patronage
