Abuja Electricity Distribution Company AEDC has denied plans to increase electricity tariffs. In a tweet Bayo Onanuga said : “Rumour mongers will hopefully desist from spreading lies that can trigger public disaffection against the new government. ”
The newspot gathered that the Federal Government would not subscribe to another hike in social and welfare amenities while Nigerians are still reeling under the oil subsidy removal that is destabilizing market forces.
