The people of Osun State are eagerly waiting for Supreme Court Judgment from Abuja for the authentic winner of the 2022 gubernatorial election .
Not only the people of Osun citizens but Nigerians as a whole are waiting breathlessly for the judgement.
The judgement that is being read as we report could only be heard by those in and within the court premises.
Many are listening to their radio sets and telephone tablets for breaking news. Few are glued to their television sets because of epileptic supply of electricity.
Back in Osun there is heavy police presence in major junctions and roundabouts in Osogbo, the Osun State capital ready to curtail any anticipated riots.
Areas of the town with police presence include, Olaiya junction, Oke-Fia and LAMECO roundabouts, Old Garage/Freedom Park, Ayetoro roundabout, Osun State High Court premises, among others.
The judgement is coming in the heels of the Supreme Court hearing from Adegboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the matter of the Osun 2022 gubernatorial election.
The election was won by Ademola Adeleke but was later upturned by the Osun gubernatorial election tribunal.
However, the Appellate Court reversed the judgment of the tribunal and declared Ademola Adeleke duly elected as Osun Governor.
