A fresh motion seeking to stop the inauguration of the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Nigeria’s new President on May 29, 2023, has been instituted at the Court of Appeal in Abuja

Chief Ambrose Albert Owuru and his political party, Hope Democratic Party (HDP) instituted the fresh suit marked CA/CV/259/2023 at the Court of Appeal

Owuru is asking the Court of Appeal in Abuja to stop President Muhammadu Buhari, Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami, and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from going forward with Tinubu’s inauguration on May 29, 2023.
