Popular reality TV star, Phyna, has tendered a public apology to those who might have been disappointed by her behavior since she emerged winner of the BBNaija show.
In a video she shared online on Monday, April 3, 2023, the Big Brother Naija level-up winner admitted that she hasn’t been on her best behavior since leaving the house and that she’s not proud of this.
She said that in a deliberate effort to be a better person, she has undergone training on how to act appropriately, noting that someone from her kind of background will need time to adjust to the lifestyle of fame.
“It’s been six months now since I won the show, Big Brother Naija Season 7, and a lot has gone down and up for the past 6 months. A lot has happened, I want to use this medium to say that I’m really sorry if I have really offended a lot of people over the past six months.
“I wish to let you know that I have gone through a lot of training, on how to behave now and I believe that you all should understand that someone from my kind of background bagging fame and money all of a sudden, will need time.
“So I have gotten the time of six months and I’m ready to be out there because the past six months is not a period I would say, I have been proud of, I have really worked on myself and I think I’m ready to go now. I will now say I have a fame of six months and know how it works and I know how I’m supposed to behave.” She said.
